Dear Hedda, it's hot and everybody is tired in spite of exciting news of landing all over the place - I don't feel like writing you much now because I'm near the time when I'll tell you things dear - Everybody knows that I'm going home and is giving me addresses of people in New York or Washington to greet: - Now don't get excited - Probably it'll take some time yet. So you'd know news from me - But I like so much the idea of going home to you that I want to talk a lot about it and that's the main & pleasant topic -

Love to you dear and I'll write you another one today - this is just to say you how are you?

So long dear S.
