Saturday night.

Dear, loved [[image]]

Went to movie, saw one called Act of Violence, quite good. In the afternoon I had the visit of Ruth Gruber who wrote a most convincing letter to Rubin and to some big shot in Palestine about getting sister out. I'll have to illustrate a book of hers, a guide to Palestine. She told me that the reason Rubin is ambassador is that he had a good apartment in Tel Aviv and they [[strikethrough]] nomine [[/Strikethrough]] sent [[strikethrough]] them [[/strikethrough]] him as an ambassador to get his apartment. She took me to a party of rich jews and I saw more old women and jewels than ever in my life. (a big party to raise funds)

I'm very lonesome for you, and uneasy. I think of all the things you don't write me. I have too little mail from you. Why do you have to rush to Riviera? I'll have mail Monday and you'll tell me but I keep worrying. What gives you fever? Have you gone to a good doctor? Monday I'll talk to dr. Hurd.

It's raining hard and it makes me very sad

I send you [[image]] my fingerprint (the middle finger) With all my love.
