Rather late in answering your letter of November 24, but I believe word has got back to you that I will not be in the country during April when you have asked that I come to Princeton. I expect to be expected back around April 26 when I am to accept an aware for Skowhegan.

Please tell Toshiko how sorry I am about this, but that I expect to be in New York thereafter for a month or two and hope to see her.
