Dear Mr. & Mrs. Tanner:

Our second annual MEMBERS PRIZE EXHIBITION will open about November tenth, and all paintings must be delivered to the gallery by October 25th, the latest, in order to be eligible.

We will hang one painting by each member and this should be his finest work. The size limit will be 50" canvas measurement on the line and letter giving correct title, size and price should be given to the Galleries, together with a glossy print photograph by October first. This will supply us with necessary material for publicity work, catalog, etc.

$6000 in cash prizes will be awarded. You will realize this is one of the most important exhibitions in the country, as far as beautiful installation and prizes is concerned.

It will rest with you and your other artist members to make it unquestionably the outstanding exhibition of the season, artistically. Please arrange to send your finest canvas to the galleries by October 25th.

Our Organization is making elaborate plans well in advance and will count on your full co-operation. All of our galleries will be devoted to this exhibition and it is hoped to have all of our salesman in New York at that time. Afternoon tea will be served three days a week and great publicity will be given the exhibition.

Very truly yours,
Erwin S. Barrie
Manager.
