Dear Mr Barrie-
 
Your letter of July 3rd arrived by due course of mail- I am sorry to say that for the last 4 months I have been quite unwell & have not been able to work, I am some better & hope soon to be [[strikethrough]] able to work [[/strikethrough]] recommence work [[strikethrough]] at first [[/strikethrough]] again on some small pictures.

What you [[strikethrough]] give [[/strikethrough]] wish one to do is quite a large order even under more favorable 2 or 3 pictures 30 x 40 [[strikethrough]] but [[/strikethrough]] I feel a duty to give Mr Haverty satisfaction & will [[strikethrough]] When Mr. H- first spoke to me about it [[/strikethrough]] do so. I shall soon ([[?]]) [[strikethrough]] as far as it lies in my power [[/strikethrough]] write you further. 

[[strikethrough]] Mr. H- wrote me a couple of years ago about it & I asked him to send it over & I would put it in shape [[/strikethrough]]
