Dear Mr. Tanner:

I sent a little note to your old Boulevard St Jaques address last evening. To-day, I followed it up personally. I finally secured your address to which I am sending this. I fear that my note of last night will not reach you.

We plan to leave Paris on Monday or Tuesday for Munich. I shall return alone. My wife and I are greatly disappointed that we shall not be able to call on Mrs. Tanner.

I plan to come back within two days or two weeks; and I shall be glad to have a word from you, indicating how I can get into touch with you. My address is simply
c/o Credit Lyonnais,
Paris.

With best regards to both of you from both of us, I am,
Very Truly Yours,
John S. Durban
