From H O. Tanner
Subj. Sheep -

I went to see butcher today to collect for sheep sold to him -

1st Four sheep sold by Lieut Clark had no weight & he could find no weight in his books - he acknowledge the reception and at a price of 2.50 frs a kilo:

For the 14 received since July 2nd he said the arrangements with you was to pay the market price - but as you told me that the price arranged was 2.50 frs a kilo, & he claimed the market price was 2,35 frs. - I refused to have a settlement until I heard from you. The total weight without the four sold by Lieut Clark is 576 kilos.

Awaiting instructions
