Kay dear - Your air mail arrived yesterday! Six weeks! Am sending you a detailed account of your affairs by post. Your mother owes you 33 550 Lira & 250,000 (paid [[Raniere?]]!) at the old rate of exchange of 20 lira for $1. There were all sorts of bills to be paid or they would have put a lien on the house. Anne told me to pay her bills as she would discount them with you - all this in agreement
