Are you still in love, or did you merely & unromantically develope a bad cold, as I suggested? Do please let me know about yourself & when you're coming down to stay. Everything's ready for you whenever you see fit & I do want you to come some time with or without Quentin depending on the after effects of the cold -

Betty and Adelaide have been here right along & Marianna arrives tonight I hear - so it has been very nice for me. My interest now is centered on a domestic life & I'm absorbed in the growth of gooseberries. I eat, sleep & am generally merry although there are times when the latter word is most obnoxious to me.
