sent me has confirmed my decision as to why Texas & how Texas could be such a charming resort! Now I know & hardly blame you for your long stay. Boots & breeches far surpass shoes & trousers although none of them compare for me to - say cooking potatos [[potatoes]] which is a likely simile although moralistic to a degree.

What will you do when you arrive - move straight out to the country - I hope not. At any rate write me again when you discover anything as to your whereabouts or mine - and forgive this long letter which is probably boring - but I am at home alone so what can you expect?
