Anne has been having the gayest of gay times much to her liking & has gotten ahead of our plans for Chip! He called her up & she went out somewhere in the country to have lunch with him so apparently matters are starting out well at least. She is thrilled about it & also about Lonnie - wanted to know immediately if he had fallen in love with me - which she seems to consider the only possible relation between two people of the opposite sex. Her disappointment was supreme! But I consoled her by saying that I had fallen completely to his charms & loved & adored him, which she interpreted exactly as I expected!

I am sending you this picture - what do you think of it? I don't know at all whether I think it looks like you or not. Perhaps you can tell me. I am also busily engaged in
