wrote you yesterday I think, we leave on the night of the 20th & arrive in Washington sometime on the morning of the 22. From there I shall go to one of two places, either straight to Middleburg or up to Albany. If the latter I shall take a late train to New York in the afternoon if I find it possible to catch a glimpse of you between trains. Maybe I could lunch with you somewhere. Whatever is decided, you will probably get numerous telegrams from me at close intervals. I'm actually getting excited at the thought of leaving this paltry place & getting somewhere else, no matter where- & then I do most awfully want to see you & hear all about your work and about yourself.
