Beverly Pepper - Hotel Somerset 400 Commonwealth Ave- or UN4-9070 7 am to 3:30 pm five is a thirty-minute, color film about five contemporary Black artists: Barbara Chase Riboud, Romare Bearden, Betty Blayton Taylor, Richard Hunt and Charles White. The film was photographed and recorded on location in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Paris. There is no narrator; the sound track tells the story in the artists' own words and voices, or those of the people they meet in actual situations.
