Dear Barbara:

I just talked with Robert Warrum in Indianapolis and her still hopes that someone will buy a piece for the museum but at the moment there have been no sales.

There is just no money to ship the show to Europe. When I worked out the costs it was always contemplated that the shipping costs to Europe would be paind by the German museum, in fact, we expected them to pay part of the crating costs which were high because the crates had to be made extra strong for overseas shipment. There was no doubt in my mind that you understood this and agreed. We have not received any payments as yet and when we do they will barely pay the costs. I cannot ask either museum to pay more than they agreed to but when Betty gets back on about the 20th I will talk it over with her.

It is a pity that no one seems to be buying the younger artists as your work certainly deserves a better response in sales.

Best to you and Mark,

Jock Truman
