Dear Barbara,

We are very happy about the Art News article. Tom Hess wants one color reproduction. If you are using a color plate for the announcement Art News can use it also. They use offset method so if you use the same process it would just be necessary to supply them with a duplicate set of separations. If you use letter press they can make separations from it though it is an additional cost of about $60. We pay $400.00 in show expenses.

The advertising (Arts. Art News, Art Forum, Art in American, N.Y. Times, Village Voice) amounts to about $300. Postage is about $85,00 so that does not leave much for the catalogues. However, we usually share the costs of color plates with the magazine (about $100.00) So, if you supply the separations we can give you $100 towards those costs.

Can you give us a list of prices as the slides are generating some interest.

Best to you,

Jock Truman
