Mr. Jock Truman
The Betty Parsons Gallery
24 West 57th Street
New York, New York

Dear Jock,

Could you please let me know how crates should be addressed for shipping and the name of your broker in New York and how long it usually takes to pass the customs?

The article for Art News is sent. It has been written by Francoise Nora, curator of the Museum of Modern Art in Paris and a regular contributor to Art News Annual.

Also please let me know how many invitations you send and when you need them.

No to Mount Holyoke College and anyone else who writes a letter like that! It may be the first and I respectfully hope it is the last. This is not a blanket no neither for black nor women's shows. I am still interested in anything less than ten people.

To the N. Carolina Museum: a drawing maybe? (If it is organized by the black community) if not, NO.

Please find enclosed letter to the Bertha Schaefer Gallery.

P.S. I am waiting for the first exhibition of black women sculptors of American/Canadian decent, who are expatriate Quakers, 135 pounds, 5'8", under 35, myopic with a crooked little finger she got when she slammed a screen door on her hand at the age of six held at the California State Institution for Albinos. Now THAT is what I call a first!!

Best,
Barbara
