Dear Mr. Graham:
It was a splendid surprise, indeed, to receive your letter, telling of your new exhibition of my father's work.  I was very happy to hear the news, because it would seem that his should be a good time for the purpose.
Thank you very much for the check in payment for the five small pictures! And thank you also for the catalogues! I think the catalogue is very fine, - the reproductions and excerpts from my father's essay, - and agree with you that the letter of Stieglitz ought to bear some insight in the minds of thoughtful spectators.
