Mrs. Vera B/ Kouba
14 Avenue B
Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y.

Dear Mrs. Kouba:
I have your letter of the 25th, asking that I send you a list of the paintings that we sold in our recent exhibition of last December.
I am sorry to say that I am not able to oblige you in this matter, as it is strictly a policy of the gallery not to disclose clients or prices after a painting has been sold.
You probably don't realize it, but all of the paintings which we sold were owned by the gallery and had not been consigned to us. Also, the sales prices to which you refer are completely erroneous, and I regret to say that none of the sales were for $10,000.
You are correct, we do have some of your sketches which were exceedingly helpful in filling out our exhibition. We still have them on consignment and hope that we will be able to sell some of them for your account.
Sincerely yours,
Robert C. Graham
