Adams, John
(colored)

States that his wife and a white lady had a quarrel and some abusive language were used on both sides. My wife was arrested and tried before Judge King and sentenced to receive 60 lashes and to pay cost of court, the sentence was executed. I submit the case hoping it will not be passed by without Justice being done.
