Testimony of witness for the State. Amy Michael, wife of Martial Michael. Sweareth upon oath that she heard Viney Scarlett - say to Mrs Livingston - if she had Black & White men running after her - she did not! Grace McLenden - further testifies that she heard - Viney Scarlett - say to Mrs Livingston, that if she had Black & White men running after her - She did not! Then Mrs Livingston told her to hush - & she would not but kept on talking. but witness did not understand what she said. Mrs Livingston - went into the house & shut the door, but the prisoner continued to remain there using abusive language. Mrs Livingston sworn - saith; that Viney Scarlett came to her house {on Thursday June 28th} & cursed & abused her & from her manner and appearance, she came to her house, purposely to make a fuss with her, and prisoner was at the time in front of Mrs Livingston's house. on the A & G.
