Dear Sir:

Since I wrote you last week, our Commission has had a meeting and modified the order for the purchase of corn in view of unexpected facts with reference to the price of corn in other markets and the facilities for transportation afforded there.
We are assured that corn will be forwarded from Louisville to any point South free of charge. The commission have therefore instructed Alfred Gaither Esq of Cincinnati to purchase on their account 2,500 bushels of the best white or mixed corn to be sent to the address of H. C. Homady Atlanta, Ga.
