Par IV of April 25th Relieving me from duty as Agent of the Bureau of R.F. & A.L. for this County received today. Knowing that I could not take the required test oath and having informed you that I could not serve longer without compensation was I apprehend the reason why the Asst Commissioner relieved me, but coming without explanation I fear will create the impression that I have been summarially relieved for improper conduct Having Conscienciously discharged the manifold and unpleasant duties of the office and in the main have the pleasure of knowing that my official conduct has given satisfaction to my fellow citizens of all colors and I am gratified with the approval & commendation over
