this place  I have in my possession Letters of introduction from Genl Judah to Genl Steadman telling him what I had done for the Sick and wounded Soldiers of the U.S. Army  if there is a lease against a Union man by a Rebel in the Courts in this county the Rebel will allways get the Judgement in his favor  I can't live unless something is done for me  I have always been A Union woman  The mayor of this city ordered me out of the Streets  Now Genl I hope you will do Something for me
