New Yok, May 8th 1867.

Col. C.C. Sibley,
Macon, Georgia.

Dear Sir,
By some oversight I failed to inform you of the shipment of six thousand and eight two bushels of corn by the "J.W. Webster", on the 27th ult. The corn was consigned to Gourdin, Matthieson & Co and has doubtless reached its destination before this time. You will please be so kind as to see that it has the same faithful distribution, as other lots forwarded you by the Southern Famine Relief Commission

Very truly, yours,
Edw. Bright.
Cor. Sec.
