Respectfully referred to Maj. Gen'l O. O. Howard, Comm for his information, & for instruction as to the course to pursue to retain this property in the possession of this Bureau, or, as least, the proceeds of it for the benefit of the school fund. The within property is a part of that referred to you March 28th, 186, and is advertised to be sold on the first Tuesday in May.
