General, 
The Board of Referees, appointed by Special Orders No. 172 Bureau R.F & A.L.  Office Ast. Com. State of Georgia, has the honor to report that the members thereof met on the 12th day of January 1867 pursuant to the above order and proceeded to take testimony and to examine the property in question. After a careful examination and mature deliberation the Board is of Opinion that the owners of the real estate of the late Mrs. Thomas Butler King, are entitled to the sum of four thousand, five hundred dollars ($4,500) for rent of said estate for the year ending December 31st 1865. The property having been in possession and occupied by the Agents of the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned lands.
