Dearest Nell -

Enclosed is Sylvia's letter, with diagram. Even if you are not interested, ultimately, in taking the place, maybe you will want to know the particulars.

Your tile is beautiful. It is hanging on the wall here at Remsen, and I find it at every moment breath-taking, so complete, fresh - organized and spontaneous. Certainly, it is one of the loveliest and most sustaining works of art I feel I've ever seen. Thank you for giving it to me. It is yours, of course - but I'm lucky to share it.

Also, the inscription, most appreciated. I don't deserve it, but, oh you kid.

See you soon. At Abingdon Sq - Thursday 3:45? Much love, from Jane
