is demanding and engaging!

It was difficult to return to N.Y. this fall but I was anxious to continue with my Art courses. Hopefully, this may be the last year for the arrangement. Jean is taking early retirement in the Spring and we plan to live in Noyac [[Noyack]] until the late Fall and then move to an apartment in Sag Harbor (five miles away!) for the winter months. I'll keep the N.Y.C. apartment and we can return whenever. We are also playing with thoughts about an extended trip throughout the U.S. Our June trip to the Pacific Northwest was so magnificent that we are reconsidering returning. The views were spectular [[spectacular]], very similar to the postcard of Acherkogl - that same majestic grace! British Victoria is the loveliest and most civilized city - flowers everywhere - qarqage [[garbage?]] arranged in neat piles, the city surrounded by water (Straits of San Juan) and the left sky view shows the Cascade Mt. range and to the right the Olympic Mts. Every glance was extraordinarily beautiful! It was so unlike N.Y.C. but I suppose we have other assets...
