Well, anyways, welcome back. My regards to Carolyn, sorry to hear about her studio. I have an idea of the feeling after seeing Jean without work space in early summer. She did, however, have a productive August and readied herself for her full show which was impressive. Her recent paintings (watercolors and drawings) attest to the fact that Noyac is certainly becoming part of her. I couldn't be happier. And that's a fine note to end.

Love,
Connie

Requested Note From Maria
She's brought a charming cottage in Mastic Beach, L.I. (40 minutes from Noyac) and is doing most revisions herself. Unfortunately, a few unnerving events in the past 5 weeks have left her extremely upset. She was attacked on campus by two young boys but managed to yell them away after being shoved to the payment (She's O.K.) and then a few weeks later her home was robbed - alarm and all! (She wasn't there!) Despite all of this, the indomitable Maria is coping very well.

P.S.S. This is not a fine ending note .. sorry .. Go back to the other one.
