Curtis got a pass for me to see NYC Ballet reherse w/ Balanchine. That was an experience I really treasure. I work very early in studio & almost never at night so spent a lot of evenings listening to writers talk or composers in music room or at ballet.

The studio time was hard. The first 3 weeks were spent on controlled, rigid, thin painting that never worked so I painted over there. The body of work was uneven when seen all at once but I believe this is because I shot through stages so fast there wasn't a long transition. The ones I'll keep show growth & some new directions.
