Dear Connie,

Last night I came across a book, piled up amongst many books, [[strikethrough]] that [[/strikethrough]] which had arrived to 1100 Park in October. It was the heavy "Eloquent Object" obra created by Oklahoma Philbrook Museum clan of Tulsa [[strikethrough]] Oklahoma [[/strikethrough]] to accompany their exhibition of same title. It was a real under taking (many pages of text, photos, captions) with authors familiar to us, and others familiar to you maybe - but unknown to me THE MANHARTS Your views about [[Art?]] or this book would interest me deeply. I ran through it here in bed until it became too heavy to hold on my tired lap with my worn out arms. My brain is not without fatigue these days either so I [[strikethrough]] read [[/strikethrough]] only scanned the text.

Naturally, I looked up the 'fiber' people in the [[strikethrough]] back [[/strikethrough]] index, and examined bios at the back, and traced comments by the various authors to try and situate myself, Claire, Leonore I challenge the date of 1967 given to Leonore's work shown on page 27. Also her birthdate in bio., and others in their retelling and interpretation of CRAFT ART his tory. I [[strikethrough]] ? [[/strikethrough]] personally surfaced in the usual context of the 60's early exhibition at the Crafts Museum ([[strikethrough]] The Muse Modern [[/strikethrough]] the MOMA show seemed to be missing;) Jack Larsen altogether invisible and most of all absent is Constantine: her books, her good works and struggles, shows, lectures to make textile [[strikethrough]] art [[/strikethrough]] and 'crafts' honored in the art arena).
