My dear M. Rothschild,

Several months ago, while they were in construction, I saw in the studio of Sheila Hicks, the remarkable elements that she was creating for the Banque de Rothschild. It is my understanding that these now have been installed.

I am at work with Jack Lenor Larsen on a book which is described in the attached letter. We both consider Sheila Hicks one of the great artists working in this field, and plan to have a major presentation of her work in our book. I am most anxious to have color photographs of the installation in your bank and am wondering whether I might ask your cooperation in this connection. Mme. Hicks knows, of course, about our book and my past work in this field.

I am enclosing a catalog of an exhibition held here which I hope you will enjoy. I should greatly appreciate any cooperation you can give us in this regard.

Sincerely yours,

Mildred Constantine
