Sheila dear,

I have just come from Florida, and the bank in Cyrpess [[Cyrpress]] Gardens is still a likely client for an abacus. Let your fertile mind work on the following possibility. It is a brick wall, painted white behind the main counter for the tellers. It is the focal point of all who enter the building. The space is about 7'6" high from the counter top to ceiling, and the most usable horizontal area would be about 15 ft. Within these two dimensions, a panel or a series of panels can be superimposed on the brick wall.

Colors in the bank are predominantly black, white and walnut. The sun is very bright in Cyrpress Gardens, and even thought this wall does not get direct sunlight, one should think in terms of unfadable materials.

Let me know how this impresses you and what you think you might offer, the size, colors, and cost.

I have much to relate, but insist on doing this in person. At the moment, unless you should have one reason or another to appear here before, the colloquium in Lausanne is now sceduled for October 2nd, which means possibly the 1st and 2nd in Lausanne. Where will you be?

Love,

Mildred Constantine
