Mrs. Sheila Hicks Zanartu
Atelier des Grands Augustins
30 Rue Dauphine
Paris VI, France

Dear Sheila:

First, let me tell you that just after I spoke to you yesterday, KLM called about my ticket, and so I informed them that I would not be going to Holland and that a refund should be make to you in Paris.

The AT&T meeting on February 1 was probably the best we have had to date because there were some definite decisions made. Albeit not as complete as we would like, it nevertheless means a promising beginning. Because of the constant changes in interior design and because of the fact that a budget of $120,000 to $140,000 would blow everybody's mind at this point, it was suggested that one project be commissioned; and we agreed that this be the one which is described in paragraph 6 of your letter to Ron Callvert; that is to say, the grill entrance wall where you will be using the communications materials which were sent to you. The budget of $20-30,000 was accepted, and I am asking AT&T to write you formally commisioning this work.

John King seems to indicate that you expect to be here in March. Does that mean you will be coming on your way to Merida or on your way back? How can I possibly keep up with your peregrinations? I write to you under separate cover about Mexico.

Love,

P.S. Kling was most decent compared to heretofore and made acceptable comments about your ability, your business acumen, your dependability, etc. All should go smoothly.
