Mme. Sheila Hicks
Atelier des Grands Augustins
30 Rue Dauphine
Paris 6, France

Dear Sheila:

Only Daniel's catalogue got me through customs because I insisted the package contained the model for the great work in the catalogue.

Between visits to the W.C. and my books and my booze I managed to get myself home and spent the next three days licking what is apparently a bug. I am weak but strong.

A conversation today with Fred Thomas prior to our meeting tomorrow left us both with delight that your solution regarding that AT&T cable to "frame" the disc will be left as your decision when you install the piece on the site. Neither of us believe that you will do this if you have any doubts and you have our complete support in this regard.

The attached gives you some idea of the gallery where the miniatures might be shown. As I explained, they are serious, but they are a Madison Avenue store. On the other hand, I am working on an idea of a miniature show at the most prestigious art gallery in Philadelphia which is run by Marian Locke. Have you ever met her?

I was neither exaggerating nor fibbing when I told Itaka that I felt completely at home. I know where my nest is.

Love,
