Dear Sheila:

You cannot possibly imagine what the holidays were like with people staying at the house, other relatives in the hospitals, other relatives dead and having to be buried and my own preparations to go away. Frankly, I have been so disoriented and occupied that I have ceased to think about how I feel. I envy you your Swiss holiday.

First, I have checked with the Dorset Hotel. Both bills, yours and Daniel's, have been paid and they are sending me copies of the receipted bills which I will send to you as soon as I have them. I am so pleased that Daniel'd contract has gone through. We had a meeting with Kling, Smith, Frederick, and myself reviewing all the major commissions and everybody seems to be most pleased. I am even authorized to start Matias oh his walls.

Ricardo and I may miss one another. I have a note from him saying he will be here the third week of January which is precisely when I will be in Mexico.

Do let me have the photograph of the Cancun fiber festival. It might be something perfectly wonderful for Beyond Craft #2.

Arthur Cohen's book on Sonia Delaunay finally made its appearance. It is a very expensive one, $35. Would you like to have one?

I will be at MOMA next week and will see if I can get hold of Koudelka's book and send it to you.

I of course would l ve to see your big show in Rennes because I have a feeling that in some way this thread act of yours will tie up with the manuscript you are now
