Mrs. Sheila Hicks
295 Shadowood Lane.
Northfield, Illinois

Sheila dear:

The astonishing aspect of last night is that with so many things to talk about, we didn't once mention the Communication Labyrinth which has been in my mind's eye from the moment you began installation.

You need have no doubt whatsoever about its magnificence and its obvious and inherent messages.

For myself, I am enormously pleased that within one building, we now have two aspects of your work which are each in themselves aesthetic statements which can only be made as a result of a mastery of craft which is the basis of a work of art.
