Mme. Sheila Hicks
Atelier des Grands Augustins
30, rue Dauphine
Paris 6

Dear Sheila:

On receipt of your wire I set tje evaluation of the tapestry which went to Texas for $3,000. It was sent off via Air Freight Collect.

The one part of your cable which is unclear is, and I quote, "declare value and bill tapestry." Did you mean for me to bill them? I would imagine not, since the people in Texas are only the forwarding agents and the rest probably will be handled by Ricardo.

In the meantime, you have by this time received my earlier letter with a bill from Greg. Attached is the bill from Judith.

Are you going to be coming through on your way to or from Mexico? If so, when? In all probability, from now on I will be in and out of New York, New City, and Washington, and just in the event that you want to reach me in Washington, this is very simple. The telephone number is 202-381-5811. Remember that the opening is on October 18 and I will of course be spending that night in Washington and in all probability the next day and night and then back to New York. How are things going with you? Have you received the New Mexico catalogue? I hope so.
