3 Bis Cour de Rohan
75006 Paris, France

Dear Sheila,
Finally realizing that you were still in Paris and not anywhere near continental U.S., I tried to put a call through Paris but apparently my number is an old one. Melvin in a brief conversation gave me a number but again there was no answer as of 1 o'clock New York time, so I am trying the FAX machine.
Aside from the questions about how you are, how you are doing, when you are coming and other items of interest, I am now checking on the Cleveland catalog. One thing which the Curator of Textiles and I disagree about is the technique of "Rick Rack, Riff Raff". She says it's machine sewing and I disagree. What kind of weaving would you call this so that we can have a catalogue entry that is correct?
Mary Jane's essay has come to hand. It is unlike what I had thought about but is truly revealing and makes important statements and observations no critic has had the guts to state.
My wrist is very slow in healing and I am bored with the whole element of pain that has become such a part of life.
I hope all is going well with the Fuji wall.

Abrazos,
Love
Connie
