I was glad to get your typewriter and incidentally much misspelt letter & really dear your enthusiasm & appreciation in quotations quite overwhelmed me! After all, I was only a case of give & take and a very pale one on my part. But the thing that really thrilled me is that you can come down -- Do you mean this coming week-end or the next? I hope to goodness it's the coming one as otherwise, I shall not be here! You simply must arrange to come down then for we expect to leave the week after the next and I shall die of disappointment if you can't come - So from this you may gather that any time you can come from today to Monday week you shall be received with open arms and you've got to come and stay as long as you can. After the 15th or 16th we close up the house and come to New York where we have taken a very small apartment at 149 East 40 St. for the winter. I can't write
