On motion duly made and seconded, Mrs. Force not voting, it was unanimously 

RESOLVED that from and after May 1, 1942, and until further order of the Board of Trustees, the salary of Mrs. Force as Director shall be at the rate of $30,000. a year payable in equal monthly installments of $2,500. 
Mr. Crocker then said that since Mrs. Miller was now the owner of the leaseholds of the property 8-10-12 West Eighth Street and of the freehold of the property 14 West Eighth Street, portions of which were occupied by the Museum under lease, it would be in order to receive from Mrs. Miller an indication of her intention respecting the continuation of the lease now held by the Museum, and of her plans respecting the lease of the premises No. 8 West Eighth Street which had heretofore been used by Mrs. Whitney. 
In response, Mrs. Miller stated that she desired to continue the lease to the Museum of the premises which it was now occupying, in return for a rental of $1.00 per annum plus the payment of the leasehold rents and the taxes and carrying charges of that portion of the premises 8-10-12-14 West Eighth Street now occupied by the Museum, and that she would also be glad to lease to the Museum on the same terms the entire premises No. 8 West Eighth Street.
