April 11, [[left margin]] Formatori secommence work for us. Three days ago, Clevengers workers. 
" Eve. Cost of Frons &c for the mattrix about 4.9 
" A. Lawrence Poldo began his bust in marble today. 
" Jancholle. wrote to him about marble for eve, and more blocks for busts. 
18. Eve. mould taken off in future. remember to make the first coat of plaster thick about the sharp corners. or otherwise they are liable to break in taking off. 
21. Eve. cast. in the mould. Note. convex parts of the first inner coats are liable to be forced off from the mould by the expansion of the plaster. had to cut away a part of the small of the back in this account & replace it with a new coat. -
"Clevenger owes me 48 pants for three pedestals. at 16 pants each. also 2 pants for other charges on them. returned one. to be deducted. 48 - 15 = 33. 
Granough. borrowed one of Lulys hands in plaster. 
27. I am Ward. enclosed to him a design of a picture by Salghetti -
30. Granough. borrowed casts of Lulys feet. 
" Eve.  all done in plaster - ready for the marble.-
