Dar Beatrice.

Many thanks for your tow sweet letters which I have received, which are very satisfying.

Life since the Occupartion has become organized - We have little to do with the Germans. What they are mostly occupied about is finding gasoline for their cars.

Aracho is a resting place for their troops.. I stay here until September then return to Paris. Roche is 200 km from here. Here is his address:

Roche
Las Bastidtte par Gaillac (TarnN)

I will let him know of your good intentions. it is difficult for us to move at present. But this will not always last. All the refugees are slowly returning to Paris or the North. The month or August here should be agreable.

Yesterday I wrote Walter and Lou. I hope during the year that I will somehow leave France and be able to see you in California.

In any case "teh dramatique" is over.

Write from time to time. A thousand affections for the new hous e and those inside it.

Kiss the Arensbergs for me and wishing to see you soon.
Affectionatly Marcel
