I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 20th inst. & its enclosed estimate of supplies for the destitute of Georgia during the month of May. I have contracted for, to be delivered at Savannah on or before the 31st day of next month, twenty thousand bushels of corn and one hundred and fifty thousand pounds of meat.
