Comr Savannah Ga for thorough investigation & report. He will take such action as the case requires. The family of Hightower are now living with Parson's Bill Hightower's whereabouts can be ascertained of them & also of Jas. R. Smith Agent &c Sandersville. By order Col. C.C. Hightower has a very bad reputation and acknowledges that his life is not safe away from the Dis. He admits that he agreed to work the year out with the Dr. and says he will willingly do so now.
