I am taking "The Bessie of N.Y" instead of the "Trees & Covered Boat" which means that I will pay $100 more and will I send it along either in its turn or at any time you need it especially. I have not had time to copy that detail - much less to prepare that canvas - for which many, many thanks When I get to Ebensburg and the simpler life I will still try to do it so that I can learn from studying your colors and forms. I'm off to Chicago this PM and two painters - one of them George Biddle are waiting for me downstairs.
