alive, robust, and close to the soil, not sicklied oer with a pale cast of thought, and not atrophied with the slow death of fadism and insincerity. The Beck Engraving Company has never asked us to return Red Barge so they could carry out their plan of making a color print. I am going to remind them of their good intention and see that they do it this summer when the Gallery is closed. If you can select a time when you can come to Washington we will make sure to be here and we hope you can stay with us. In any case we will want you to let us see you often both at the Gallery and at our house.
With best regards,
Sincerely yours,
