Dear Jack:

The invitation to visit Long House is provocative. The only thing that delays me is a stubborn body that has been misbehaving for weeks. It may still be more weeks before I whip it into action. This means I am not in my workroom, but instead am spending the hours writing and drawing. 

This leaves me full of hope that you will visit our beautiful valley and the mountains which I so much love.
