The first signs of Spring in the New York clubhouse are, naturally enough, our own deary Andy's Anemones. They are gently pressed under glass now to insure their lasting color for Springs to come. We spray about lots of anemone scent for those fans who are nasally oriented and for the cats who can be a problem!

Well, FANSIES, have you been reading the papers lately? As you might well imagine, our Andy has been at just every party and gala gathering imaginable. Oh, how they all love our own, precious Prince.

He was so, oh just so adorable at the opening of the op show at the Museum. He had on his cute little beige trench coat. We don't know what brand it is, but when we find out, FANSies, you can be sure that you'll be among the first to know.

Then he was at a party given by Zachary Scott and Ruth. Can you imagine that our dear Andy was eating CHILI of all things!!! Well, I just hope that his stomach wasn't too bad in the morning.

FANSies, you won't believe it, but listen to this. One of our members, a young, dear thing from North Carolina, just happened to drop into this bar in the upper 80's. And, my dears, can you imagine...who should be right there in the very same bar? Oh, the excitement of the whole thing. Yes, it was Andy Warhol, alright! Well, our dear FANSie didn't dare do a thing. Unfortunately, our member had no identifying mark on him. He had neither his fan club banner, nor his fan club pin. He thought of giving the cheer, but we know how he felt. It only sounds the marvelous way it should when there are throngs chanting in unison. Finally, our boy could stand it no longer - to be so close and so far in one breath was too awful. He left.

FANSies, I am going to divulge the name of this bar so that we all may share in the atmosphere that Andy himself chose, that one eventful night. And, of course, the important thing is, who will ever know that maybe, just maybe, some night, he might go there again. And, fans, if he does, let's give him a rousing, breathtaking reception, the type we know he deserves.

The spot is up in the 80's on the east side, and well, specifically, it is ELAINE's, 1703 2nd Avenue, N.Y.C.

That's all for now, but in parting, remember, if we all could pick just one little FANSie, what a big club we would have.
