Mr. Andrew Warhol
1342 Lexington Ave.
New York City, NY

Dear Mr. Warhol,

Thank you for the privelege of allowing us to purchase a sequence of THE CHELSEA GIRLS from your cutting room. If possible, we would like a psychedelic scene and/or one of the lesbians'.

As you will recall, the New York State Council on the Arts asked me to select and prepare a budget for five hours of experimental films which, if accepted, will travel throughout N.Y. State, and will be presented at Universities and Cultural Centers.

Will you be kind enough to give us the price of a print of your sequence, the date of completion, and sign the enclosed form giving us permission to use it.

This Show will be as selective of filmmakers and films as the exhibition PROJECTED ART presented at the Finch College Museum. We are pleased that we have received an early enthusiastic response, and hope to receive your reply immediately.

Sincerely,

EHY:rr
